Bhavan's Tripura College of Teacher Education
has been established at Bimangarh (Narsingarh), Agartala, West Tripura. This B.Ed. College is recognized by N C T E vide NCTE letter and F.ERC/NCTE/APE00339/B.Ed(Revised order/as per new NCTE regulations. The College is permanently affiliated to the Tripura University (ACentral University). The college is also recognized by UGC under Section 2(f) & 12(B) of UGC Act. 1956. The College campus has been set up by the Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan with active patronage and support of the Government of Tripura with an objective of offering Teacher Education. The College is adjacent to Agartala Airport and is connected by Bus and frequintly run Auto services. Large classrooms, Laboratories, Library, Staff room, Office Room and Principal's
Chamber are in use. A large playground of the College campus with plantations and gardening have been taken up.
Candidates with at least 50% marks either in the Bachelors’ degree and / or in the Masters’ degree in Science / Social Science / Humanity, Bachelors’ in Engineering or Technology with specialization in Science and Mathematics with 55% marks or any other qualification equivalent thereto, are eligible for admission to the programme
(relaxable upto 5% in case of SC / ST / OBC).
2. Application form along with prospectus may be obtained from college office from 03/02/2020 and the last date of submission the form is 08/05/2020.
3. At the time of submission the form, the photo copies of the following documents are to be submitted. Aadhaar card, Tripura University registration certificate, ST / SC / OBC certificate, Madhyamik admit card as proof of age, all marks sheet of the examination passed including all semesters, one passport size photo.
4. Applicant having Degree / Diploma certificates / marksheets obtained from different Off campus Universities through distance mode are not allowed for B. Ed. admission programme.
